Dr. Alexander Anim-Mensah is the President of i2iMegaHub, an NGO supporting African especially the youth harness their ideas to make global impacts. He has over eighteen (18) years’ experiences in Engineering, Business and Management and has a PhD, MS & BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati -Ohio, North Carolina A & T State University -NC and the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) – Ghana, respectively.
Other specializations includes Technology, Operation and Value Chain Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan School of Management – MA, Business Strategy from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business – VA, and Intellectual Property Law & Policy from the University of Pennsylvania – Pa.
Dr. Alexander Anim-Mensah being an Innovation enthusiast is involved in over 30 inventions and US & world patents in areas including energy recovery, sensing, chemical & water improved efficiencies, refrigeration & heat pump, optimization, process & product improvements, waste and environmental impact minimization. In 2019, he was nominated as a Fellow for the US National Academy of Inventors (NAI) and among the top four (4) runners-up for GUBA’s prestigious Innovation in Science & Technology Award in the USA. He was featured on Voice of America (VOA) NightLife Africa Radio on the subject matter of “Harnessing Innovation, Invention, and Patenting for Africa’s Development” broadcasted across Africa and Asia.
His expertise includes innovation value chain management, business & IP strategy, developing and leading an effective team, prioritizing and align resources, technology & innovation management, economic feasibility analysis, water treatments and membrane science & technology. He co-authored 2 books, 2 book chapters and several articles in membrane science and technology for separation and biomedical applications.
